PTTG Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA kit is designed to analyse PTTG (pituitary tumor transforming gene) protein expression directly in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm, and is configured for adherent cells in a 96-well microplate. It is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

Described as lysate-free, high throughput and qualitative, the kit allows comparison of relative PTTG levels across treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators. Normalisation is supported by an included anti-GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control, with Crystal Violet whole-cell staining available to correct for differences in cell density.
