Prostaglandin F2alpha (PGF2A) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Prostaglandin F2alpha (PGF2A) ELISA Kit is a competitive, colorimetric assay designed to measure PGF2a in biological samples. According to the manufacturer, the kit covers a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, cell lysates, tissue homogenates, tissue lysates, and breast milk. The assay is performed on a dismountable microplate. The protocol involves adding standard, blank, or sample to each well followed by Detection Reagent A working solution, incubating for 1 hour at 37°C, washing, adding Detection Reagent B working solution and incubating for 45 minutes at 37°C, a further wash, addition of substrate for 10–20 minutes at 37°C protected from light, addition of stop solution, and immediate reading of the optical density at 450 nm. Sample preparation guidance is provided for each supported matrix, including centrifugation at 1,000 × g for 10 minutes for serum and plasma, and 10,000 × g for 60 minutes at 4°C for breast milk.
