Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) ELISA Kit

Designed for measurement of Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2, also known as dinoprostone), this Competitive ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a colorimetric assay with a measurement range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and is intended for research use only. PGE2 is described as a key mediator of inflammation and pain, and the kit enables detection across biological samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, cell lysates, tissue homogenates, tissue lysates, and breast milk.

The procedure involves sequential addition of standards/samples, Detection Reagent A working solution, and Detection Reagent B working solution to the microplate wells, with incubation and wash steps between reagent additions, followed by substrate development and stop reaction. Optical density is read at 450 nm. Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents (A and B), Detection Reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with storage at -20°C or 4°C as indicated per component.
