Progesterone Receptor (Phospho-Ser294)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A colorimetric, cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the detection of Progesterone Receptor phosphorylated at Ser294 in adherent cells. The assay uses a colorimetric readout at 450 nm and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples, with a dynamic range of more than 5000 cells.

Running as a lysate-free, high-throughput indirect ELISA, the kit captures phospho-Ser294 Progesterone Receptor with a target-specific primary antibody, which is in turn bound by an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody that catalyses a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. It can be used to measure relative levels of phosphorylated Progesterone Receptor in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators on receptor phosphorylation.

A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalisation, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell stain is provided for determining cell density so that absorbance values can be adjusted to account for plating variation.
