Porcine Vitronectin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Vitronectin (VTN) in porcine samples. The assay is intended for serum, plasma and other biological fluids, with a detection range of 6.25-400 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 3.75 ng/mL. Capture antibody is pre-coated onto the plate and a biotin-labelled antibody is used for detection, with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate producing a colorimetric read-out at 450 nm.

The kit is shipped on ice packs and the components should be stored as directed in the kit contents table; refrigerated storage at 2-8°C is indicated for most components. Recovery in serum (n=5) has been measured at 85-105% (average 93%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) at 87-99% (average 94%) and in heparin plasma (n=5) at 85-100% (average 95%).
