Porcine VEGF ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise quantitative measurement of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in porcine samples. Using a colorimetric, double-antibody detection workflow, the kit supports research into angiogenesis, vascular biology, wound healing, tumor progression, and ischemic conditions, where VEGF plays a central role in promoting the formation of new blood vessels.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported linearity in serum (n=5) spans 86-104% at a 1:2 dilution, 82-100% at 1:4, and 81-100% at 1:8, with EDTA plasma at 85-105%, 89-100%, and 87-99% and heparin plasma at 88-101%, 82-98%, and 89-98% across the same dilutions. Recovery averages 98% in serum (range 88-105%), 93% in EDTA plasma (range 85-105%), and 94% in heparin plasma (range 87-102%). The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
