Porcine Tn-I/Troponin I ELISA Kit

A double-antibody sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise quantification of troponin I (Tn-I) levels in porcine samples. It detects the target in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reactivity specific to porcine specimens. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and supports cardiac research, where troponin I serves as a biomarker of cardiac muscle injury.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Reported linearity in serum (n = 5) is 87–95% at 1:2, 92–100% at 1:4, and 80–99% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma (n = 5) it is 87–95%, 83–97%, and 82–101%; in Heparin plasma (n = 5) it is 80–96%, 81–98%, and 82–95%. Recovery is 88–103% in serum (average 98%), 88–103% in EDTA plasma (average 96%), and 88–104% in Heparin plasma (average 95%).

Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months. The workflow includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
