Porcine Thrombomodulin/BDCA-3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the accurate detection of thrombomodulin (BDCA-3) in porcine samples. It is suited to research into blood coagulation and inflammation-related conditions including sepsis, thrombosis, and cardiovascular disorders.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with components stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Dilution linearity in serum was 91-104%, 89-98%, and 80-99% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8; in EDTA plasma 87-105%, 83-91%, 82-96%; and in heparin plasma 89-94%, 85-101%, 85-95%. Spike recovery was 85-102% (average 93%) in serum, 90-104% (average 97%) in EDTA plasma, and 91-97% (average 93%) in heparin plasma.

Detection is colorimetric using TMB substrate in a sandwich workflow: primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and absorbance read at 450 nm.
