Porcine Selectin, Platelet (SELP) ELISA Kit

The Porcine Selectin, Platelet (SELP) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is configured for quantitative measurement of CD62P, a cell adhesion glycoprotein that resides in platelet alpha-granules and endothelial Weibel-Palade bodies before translocating to the plasma membrane during cellular activation. The assay is calibrated against recombinant porcine SELP and does not cross-react with human or murine selectin isoforms, providing species-specific readouts in cardiovascular disease models, thromboinflammation studies, sepsis research, and vascular injury workflows. Each microplate ships with pre-coated wells alongside the ancillary reagents, calibrators, and substrate components needed to generate a standard immunoassay readout on a conventional plate reader. A 100 µL sample aliquot is loaded per well during the procedure, and reconstituted standards remain stable when aliquoted and held frozen, while sealed kit components are kept refrigerated at 4 degrees C until first use.
