Porcine SCF/Stem Cell Factor ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Porcine SCF (Stem Cell Factor) ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA with double-antibody design, intended for the accurate quantification of stem cell factor in porcine samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The reported sensitivity is 9.375 pg/mL with an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL, and the kit is stored at 2–8 °C with a stated shelf life of 12 months.

Stem cell factor is a key cytokine involved in hematopoiesis, stem cell self-renewal and cell proliferation, with roles in tissue repair, immune response and development. Monitoring SCF levels supports research in stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, veterinary medicine and disease progression. The kit's target is also known as SCF, KITLG, Kit ligand, c-Kit ligand, MGF or Mast cell growth factor.

The procedure uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. In spiked samples, reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for serum (n=5) ranges 86–102%, 85–104% and 86–101%; for EDTA plasma (n=5) 82–98%, 86–96% and 85–99%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) 81–97%, 81–92% and 80–98%. Recovery averages are 96% for serum (range 88–102%), 94% for EDTA plasma (87–102%) and 93% for heparin plasma (85–103%).
