Porcine S100A11 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of S100A11 in porcine samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody detection method with read-out at 450 nm. The kit is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, and is calibrated over a range of 1.563-100 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL.

The assay employs a biotin-labelled detection antibody in conjunction with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate for colour development. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C, with lyophilised standards also suitable for storage at -20°C. The workflow includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-antibody incubation, and a 30-minute SABC incubation, followed by TMB development and absorbance measurement.

S100A11, also known as S100 calcium-binding protein A11, calgizzarin, MLN70, or S100C (UniProt P31950), is implicated in cellular signalling and inflammation, with roles in processes such as cell growth, differentiation and migration.
