Porcine PDGFB ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Porcine PDGFB (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Subunit B) in porcine samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection.

Validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, the assay delivers a detection range of 46.875–3000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 28.125 pg/mL. Recovery in serum averages 94% (range 91–104%), in EDTA plasma averages 98% (range 85–103%), and in heparin plasma averages 98% (range 86–105%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported for serum (91–101%, 88–101%, 86–99%), EDTA plasma (82–100%, 85–98%, 85–100%) and heparin plasma (85–100%, 89–96%, 85–100%).

The workflow includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, and a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin incubation, with TMB substrate developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes and absorbance read at 450 nm. Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with selected items also suitable for long-term storage at -20°C.
