Porcine OPN/Osteopontin ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) for the quantitative measurement of Osteopontin in porcine samples. The kit is suited to research into bone formation, immune response, and cancer progression, and to biomarker studies in conditions such as osteoporosis, inflammatory disorders, and cancer.

Accepted sample types are serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a measurement range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL. Unopened kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 94-103%, 94-103% and 92-103% for serum; 85-98%, 85-101% and 90-96% for EDTA plasma; and 81-95%, 82-100% and 90-100% for heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 94% for serum (range 90-99%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 87-101%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 85-105%). The procedure uses primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, TMB substrate in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution.
