Description

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of porcine Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III (FCGR3). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. FCGR3 is described as a key receptor involved in immune responses, particularly in antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and phagocytosis.

FCGR3 is also referred to as Cytolytic trigger molecule G7, Fc-gamma RIII, FcRIII, CD16, and IgG Fc receptor III. The protein functions as a receptor for the Fc region of complexed immunoglobulins gamma and acts as a low affinity receptor, localising to the cell membrane as a single-pass type I membrane protein. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant pig Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.252ng/mL. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples across multiple dilutions. The kit is intended for research use only within the immunology research area.
