Porcine Leptin (LEP) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of porcine leptin (LEP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with reactivity against pig samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only.

Stated performance figures include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.094ng/mL. Reported linearity values across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are 81-90%, 82-92%, 107-117% and 84-97% for serum (N=5); 100-112%, 108-117%, 86-96% and 89-99% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 112-122%, 96-106%, 104-114% and 93-105% for heparin plasma (N=5).

The kit detects natural and recombinant pig leptin with specificity for the porcine protein.
