Porcine IL-7ELISA Kit (PRFI00172)

Assay Genie's Porcine IL-7 ELISA Kit is a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay designed for the quantitative measurement of Interleukin-7 (IL7) in porcine samples. The kit is reactive with porcine species and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The target analyte, also known by the synonyms IL-7, IL7, and Interleukin 7, is catalogued under UniProt ID Q9N2G6 and is classified as a cytokine — a signaling molecule involved in immune regulation, particularly in T cell development and function.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an assay range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity was assessed at dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8. For serum (n=5), the ranges were 88-102%, 90-100%, and 90-98%. EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 82-95%, 84-100%, and 86-98%. Heparin plasma (n=5) gave 85-98%, 87-101%, and 81-100%. Spike-and-recovery results are reported as serum (n=5) 88-101% with a 91% average, EDTA plasma (n=5) 91-105% with a 94% average, and heparin plasma (n=5) 89-101% with a 93% average.

Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. The workflow includes equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards and samples, and incubating the plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by incubation with biotin-labelled detection antibody at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of the stop solution.
