The Porcine IL-6 DIY ELISA Kit from Assay Genie offers flexibility in plate setup when quantifying interleukin-6 in pig-derived samples. In the DIY configuration, the kit supplies the capture antibody, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant porcine IL-6 standard, streptavidin-HRP, wash buffer, substrate and stop solution, allowing the user to coat microplates according to their own layout — a practical format when running partial plates, custom replicates or small batches.

It is intended for cell culture supernatants, serum and tissue homogenates of porcine origin, validated for in vitro research use only, with absorbance read on a standard microplate reader.

For reagent stability, store all components at -20 °C, protect the streptavidin-HRP from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by aliquoting the standard and detection antibody on first use. Bring all reagents to room temperature before running the ELISA protocol.
