Porcine IL-1B ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of interleukin-1 beta (IL-1B) in porcine samples. The colorimetric assay is reactive with porcine species and supports research into inflammation, immune regulation, and disease pathology.

Linearity testing across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n=5) showed serum linearity of 85–105%, EDTA plasma of 81–101%, and heparin plasma of 82–104%. Recovery averages reached 92% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 97% in heparin plasma. The workflow involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
