Porcine IL-1A/IL-1 alpha ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of porcine IL-1A (IL-1 alpha). The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit has a reported sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. All components should be stored at 2–8°C, where they remain stable for 12 months.

IL-1 alpha (UniProt P18430) is a cytokine involved in inflammatory responses, immune regulation, and cell differentiation. The workflow involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards and samples onto the pre-coated plate, incubation with a biotin-labeled detection antibody followed by HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
