Porcine IL-12 (p40) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit for the quantification of porcine IL-12 (p40) across serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with a sensitivity of 28.125 pg/mL and a working range of 46.875-3000 pg/mL.

Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Validation across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma showed recovery of 93-100% (average 96%) for serum, 92-100% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 86-104% (average 98%) for heparin plasma. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was 90-98%, 93-101%, and 92-99% for serum; 86-99%, 82-98%, and 82-99% for EDTA plasma; and 83-98%, 85-100%, and 81-95% for heparin plasma.

The protocol includes reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution. IL12-p40 is a cytokine involved in immune response regulation, with aberrant levels linked to inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.
