Porcine IFN beta DIY ELISA Kit

The kit targets porcine interferon-beta (IFN-β), also known as IFNB1, a type I cytokine central to antiviral defense in swine. The DIY format from Assay Genie provides the plates, coating and blocking buffers, wash concentrate, TMB substrate and stop solution, allowing the researcher to pair their own capture and detection antibodies for custom ELISA development. The kit supports quantitative measurement in porcine serum, cell culture supernatant from in vitro models, or tissue homogenate from pig models used in PRRSV, classical swine fever, and African swine fever research, as well as vaccine immunogenicity studies. Each well accommodates 100 µL of diluted sample or standard, and the included microplate is configured for runs of up to 10 plates. Reagents should be refrigerated upon arrival, with the TMB substrate protected from light to preserve activity. The protocol is calibrated to the porcine IFNB1 sequence, supporting species-specific detection with minimal cross-reactivity against related cytokines. For research use only.
