Description
Designed by Assay Genie for research applications, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of Glial Cell Line-Derived Neurotrophic Factor Receptor Alpha 1 (GFRA1) in porcine samples using a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. GFRA1 serves as a key receptor for glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF), playing a critical role in neuronal development and maintenance, with dysregulation linked to various neurological disorders.
The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Spiking recovery across serum (86-104%, average 97%), EDTA plasma (90-96%, average 94%), and heparin plasma (93-105%, average 98%) matrices falls within acceptable analytical ranges, and linearity data for 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions is provided for each matrix.
The protocol involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards and samples for primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation (60 minutes at 37°C), HRP-Streptavidin binding (30 minutes at 37°C), TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
