Porcine Fetuin A/AHSG ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of porcine fetuin-A (AHSG) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Porcine fetuin-A is a key glycoprotein involved in calcium metabolism, cell signaling, and inflammation regulation, and its dysregulation has been linked to metabolic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and other health conditions, supporting its value as a biomarker for disease research and treatment evaluation.

The double-antibody sandwich format provides a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Detection is colorimetric, with TMB substrate development and absorbance read at 450 nm. Linearity has been validated in serum (85–102%, 85–100% and 88–103% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (90–98%, 83–97% and 84–94%) and heparin plasma (81–100%, 80–90% and 85–93%). Spike-recovery averages are 90% in serum, 92% in EDTA plasma and 95% in heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
