Porcine FETUB/Fetuin B ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative detection of porcine Fetuin B (FETUB) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double antibody sandwich format is intended for research applications, including studies of metabolic regulation and disease pathology.

Fetuin B is a protein involved in physiological processes such as the regulation of insulin sensitivity and lipid metabolism. Abnormal levels of the protein have been linked to metabolic disorders including diabetes and obesity, making it a valuable biomarker for research in these areas.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity data for serum (n=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 range from 88-104%, 83-97%, and 86-99% respectively; EDTA plasma (n=5) shows 85-97%, 82-100%, and 80-99%; heparin plasma (n=5) shows 89-105%, 84-92%, and 84-99%. Recovery ranges are 89-100% (average 95%) for serum, 86-105% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 91-105% (average 99%) for heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C and remains stable for 12 months under those conditions.
