Porcine Clusterin (CLU) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of porcine Clusterin (CLU). The colorimetric assay is designed for porcine serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and detects natural and recombinant pig Clusterin. Clusterin, also known as apolipoprotein J, CP40, complement cytolysis inhibitor or CLI, is a multifunctional protein involved in apoptosis, lipid transport and immune response modulation, with dysregulation linked to Alzheimer's disease, cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

The assay has a reported detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 5.4 pg/mL. Linearity data for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma are provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions: serum 86-96%, 86-97%, 114-124% and 101-111%; EDTA plasma 103-113%, 103-113%, 87-97% and 107-120%; heparin plasma 84-95%, 97-107%, 104-116% and 94-106% (n=5).
