Porcine CKMB/Creatine Kinase MB Isoenzyme ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of Creatine Kinase MB Isoenzyme (CK-MB) levels in porcine samples, supporting research into cardiovascular disease and myocardial injury in pig models. The double-antibody sandwich format uses colorimetric detection, with a sensitivity of 0.141 ng/mL and a working range of 0.234–15 ng/mL.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions has been demonstrated for serum (85–104%, 85–102%, 88–101%), EDTA plasma (88–101%, 89–104%, 84–101%), and heparin plasma (85–101%, 83–98%, 81–89%). Recovery averages are 97% for serum (range 87–103%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 85–100%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 89–101%).

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labeled detection antibody with a 60-minute incubation at 37°C, binding HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes at 37°C, developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
