Porcine Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) ELISA Kit

This quantitative immunoassay measures porcine BDNF, a neurotrophin central to neuronal survival, synaptic plasticity, and cognitive function. The Assay Genie kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, lyophilized standards, and concentrated wash buffer.

Detection range spans 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL with analytical sensitivity below 9.375 pg/mL; 50 uL of sample is required per well. The porcine-specific antibody pair shows no significant cross-reactivity with NGF, NT-3, or NT-4/5 neurotrophins. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20 degrees C; reagents remain stable through several freeze-thaw cycles.
