Porcine Bradykinin ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the precise quantitative measurement of bradykinin (BK) in porcine samples. The kit is intended for research applications investigating the role of bradykinin, a peptide involved in inflammatory processes and vasodilation that plays a central role in regulating blood pressure and vascular permeability, and as a biomarker for conditions such as hypertension, inflammation and pain disorders.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a stated sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a working range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. Standards and a biotin-labeled antibody are added to wells pre-coated with antigen, followed by TMB substrate development with absorbance read at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

Reported linearity in serum ranges 94–103%, 87–97% and 91–105% across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with EDTA plasma at 83–98%, 82–101% and 84–100% and heparin plasma at 91–100%, 82–99% and 81–95%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 97% in serum, 93% in EDTA plasma and 99% in heparin plasma. Unopened kits should be stored sealed at 2–8 °C and not cryopreserved.
