Porcine Apolipoprotein A-IV/ApoA4 ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise quantification of Apolipoprotein A-IV (APOA4) in porcine samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection to deliver sensitive and reproducible measurements. The assay is reactive with porcine samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 3.75 ng/mL and an assay range of 6.25–400 ng/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 85–104% / 86–102% / 86–103% for serum (n=5), 82–99% / 83–98% / 84–96% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 81–100% / 80–95% / 82–89% for heparin plasma (n=5). Average recovery is 95% for serum (range 87–105%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 92–102%), and 97% for heparin plasma (range 91–105%).

The workflow consists of reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm. The kit is stored at 2–8°C and is stable for 12 months.
