Porcine Angiogenin/ANG ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this immunoassay is a sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody format to measure angiogenin (ANG) in porcine samples. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with colorimetric detection by absorbance at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Reported spike-and-recovery averages are 96% for serum (range 89-105%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 88-105%), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 91-105%). Dilutional linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 was 86-98%, 85-101% and 95-101% for serum, 83-98%, 92-98% and 90-101% for EDTA plasma, and 83-100%, 82-96% and 86-99% for heparin plasma (n=5). The procedure includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, 30 minutes with HRP-Streptavidin, and 10-20 minutes of colour development in the dark. Unopened components should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.
