PML Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The PML (Promyelocytic Leukemia) protein plays a critical role in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis, and its dysregulation has been implicated in diseases including cancer and viral infections. From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit provides a lysate-free, high-throughput, and sensitive method for detecting PML protein expression in adherent cells, enabling measurement of relative PML levels in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on PML.

The assay uses an indirect ELISA format, in which PML is captured by PML-specific primary antibodies and detected using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that bind the Fc region of the primary antibody. Detection is colorimetric, measured at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and reactivity to human samples. The kit is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density, allowing results to be normalized to cell amounts to adjust for plating differences.
