PKD1/PKC mu (Phospho-Tyr463)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the qualitative measurement of phosphorylated PKD1/PKC mu at the Tyr463 residue in cultured cells. The lysate-free, indirect ELISA format uses phospho-specific primary antibodies to capture the target, with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalysing the colorimetric readout. Reactivity covers human, mouse, and rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells. Detection is performed colorimetrically at 450 nm in a 2 x 96-well microplate format.

An anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is provided to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences. The kit is suited to measuring relative PKD1/PKC mu phosphorylation in adherent cells and to screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (e.g. siRNA or chemicals) or activators on PKD1/PKC mu phosphorylation.
