Phalloidin, II, 300tests

Fluorescent probes from STEMCELL Technologies enable identification and quantification of F-actin in tissues, cell cultures, or cell-free experiments. The conjugates have been validated for staining H9 embryonic stem cells plated on Corning® Matrigel®-coated 35 mm glass-bottom dishes for 24 hours, then fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and stained with Phalloidin-iFluor™ 647 (red), with Hoechst 33342 (blue) used as a counterstain.

The same conjugates have been used to stain forebrain-type neurons, with WLS-1C cell-derived neural progenitor cells differentiated using STEMdiff™ Forebrain Neuron Differentiation and STEMdiff™ Forebrain Neuron Maturation Kits. Neurons were cultured on poly-L-ornithine/laminin-coated 35 mm glass-bottom dishes for 3 weeks, then fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and stained with Phalloidin-iFluor™ 647 (red), with Hoechst 33342 (blue) used as a counterstain.

This product supports research workflows involving serum-free neurophysiological basal medium for improved neuronal function and live imaging.
