PGE2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reactivity is listed as universal. The microplate is pre-coated with a specific antigen, and detection uses a biotin-labeled antigen, HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and TMB substrate to produce a colorimetric reaction that is read at 450 nm.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. In validation work, spike-and-recovery averaged 93% in serum (range 84–104%, n=10), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 86–105%, n=10) and 97% in heparin plasma (range 85–103%, n=10), with linearity also assessed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions across the same matrices.
