PDE4D (Phospho-Ser190/53)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit enables the detection of phosphorylated PDE4D (Phospho-Ser190/53) in cell samples. The colorimetric assay is run in an indirect ELISA format read at 450 nm, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The lysate-free, high-throughput workflow captures the target using PDE4D (Phospho-Ser190/53)-specific primary antibodies, with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalysing a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Phosphorylation of PDE4D at serine 190 is known to regulate its activity, impacting cellular processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. The kit is suitable for adherent cells and allows relative quantification of phosphorylated PDE4D, as well as screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors, siRNA, or activators on PDE4D phosphorylation.

A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.
