Patched Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the detection and quantification of Patched protein levels directly in cultured cells. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies and a colorimetric readout at 450 nm, and is reactive with human and mouse samples. It is intended for use with adherent cells and supports a high-throughput, lysate-free workflow.

The assay can be applied to measure relative Patched expression in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemical compounds) or activators on Patched levels. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control to normalise target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density. After staining, absorbance values can be normalised to cell numbers, allowing adjustment for plating differences.

Stated dynamic range is greater than 5000 cells, with the kit stored at 4 °C for a shelf life of 6 months.
