PAK2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of PAK2 (p21-activated kinase 2) protein expression in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which PAK2 is captured by PAK2-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, enabling a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

The kit is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and is intended for use with adherent cells, with detection measured at 450 nm. It supports a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and is provided in a 96-well microplate format, with recommended storage at 4°C for 6 months. The assay is lysate-free and high-throughput, allowing measurement of relative PAK2 amounts in cultured cells as well as screening of the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on PAK2. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method is supplied for cell density normalization.
