p70 S6 Kinase (Phospho-Thr229)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of phosphorylated p70 S6 Kinase at threonine 229 in cultured cells. The lysate-free, high-throughput assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which target-specific primary antibodies are bound by Dye 1- and Dye 2-conjugated secondary antibodies, enabling fluorometric readout at Ex/Em 651/667 nm and 495/521 nm with a dynamic range of greater than 5,000 cells. The kit supports measurement of relative phosphorylated p70 S6 Kinase levels and evaluation of the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) and activators have on p70 S6 Kinase phosphorylation.

Two normalization methods are included to support the qualitative Cell-Based ELISA readout. A monoclonal GAPDH antibody serves as an internal positive control for normalizing target RFU values, and an antibody against the non-phosphorylated counterpart of p70 S6 Kinase (Phospho-Thr229) is provided so that RFU values for non-phosphorylated p70 S6 Kinase can be used to normalize the RFU value for phosphorylated p70 S6 Kinase.
