p70 S6 Kinase beta Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Cell-Based ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of p70 S6 Kinase beta protein expression in cultured cells. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which target-specific primary antibodies capture p70 S6 Kinase beta and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. It is described as a lysate-free, high-throughput, sensitive assay suitable for measuring relative target levels in cultured cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators.

The assay is reactive with Human and Mouse samples and produces a colorimetric readout at 450 nm, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided for determining cell density.
