Description

This Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate detection of phosphorylated p62/Dok (Tyr362) levels in cell lysates and tissue samples. It targets p62 Dok (Phospho-Tyr362) and is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm and supports a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

p62/Dok is a critical signalling molecule involved in various cellular processes, including cell growth, survival, and differentiation. Phosphorylation of p62/Dok at Tyr362 plays a key role in regulating its function and has been implicated in diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and inflammatory disorders. The kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, supporting research into the role of p62/Dok phosphorylation in cellular signalling pathways and disease pathogenesis.

Detection is achieved by an indirect ELISA format, in which target-specific primary antibodies capture the analyte and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and the Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density so that absorbance values can be adjusted for plating differences.
