p53 (Phospho-Ser20)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A lysate-free fluorometric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie provides qualitative monitoring of phosphorylated p53 at Ser20 in cultured cells. Detection follows an indirect ELISA format: target-specific primary antibodies capture phosphorylated p53, and dye-conjugated secondary antibodies allow fluorometric readout at Ex/Em 651/667 (Dye 1) and 495/521 (Dye 2). The assay is suited to high-throughput workflows and to screening the effects of treatments, siRNA, chemical inhibitors, or activators on TP53 phosphorylation.

Reactivity covers human, mouse, and rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells. The kit includes a GAPDH monoclonal antibody as an internal positive control for normalizing target RFU values, alongside an antibody against the nonphosphorylated counterpart of p53 (Ser20) for comparing the phosphorylated RFU signal to total p53. A fluorescent plate reader with the two specified Ex/Em channels is required but not provided.
