OVOL1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the qualitative measurement of OVOL1 protein levels in cell lysates and tissue homogenates. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which OVOL1-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition, allowing researchers to assess relative OVOL1 expression in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors, or activators.

The kit is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format with colorimetric measurement at 450 nm and reactivity established for human and mouse samples. It is a lysate-free, high-throughput assay intended for use with adherent cells, and incorporates a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control together with a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step so that absorbance values can be normalized to cell density.
