OT/Oxytocin ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of oxytocin in human samples, this competitive ELISA kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a stated sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, with reactivity described as universal.

Validation data include linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with serum (n=10) ranging from 89-101%, 93-100%, and 91-100% at the respective dilutions, EDTA plasma (n=10) ranging from 92-105%, 89-97%, and 95-99%, and heparin plasma (n=10) ranging from 96-104%, 87-97%, and 94-100%. Recovery data report average values of 91% for serum (range 85-94%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 92-96%), and 98% for heparin plasma (range 94-100%). The kit should be stored sealed at 2-8°C and not cryopreserved.
