OQX (Olaquindox) ELISA Kit

The OQX (Olaquindox) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides a competitive immunoassay for quantitative detection of olaquindox residues, a quinoxaline-1,4-dioxide antimicrobial historically used as a livestock growth promoter in swine and poultry production.

This veterinary drug residue testing kit is validated for muscle tissue and animal feed samples, supporting food safety laboratories, veterinary diagnostic centres, and regulatory residue monitoring programmes.

Each microplate kit provides 96 determinations. The protocol uses a 50 µL sample volume per well added to pre-coated wells, with olaquindox standards, antibody working solution, HRP conjugate, substrate, and stop solution included. The assay principle relies on competitive binding between sample analyte and coated antigen, with color development inversely proportional to olaquindox concentration in the extract.

Reconstituted reagents should be stored refrigerated at 4°C and protected from light; the conjugate is sensitive to repeated freeze-thaw cycles and should be aliquoted before storage.
