OCT2 Transcription Factor Activity Assay

OCT2 (also called POU2F2) is a POU-domain transcription factor that recognizes the octamer consensus motif ATTTGCAT and drives immunoglobulin promoter activity in B lymphocytes, with documented roles in germinal center B-cell biology and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma research. This DNA-binding activity assay from Assay Genie uses oligonucleotide-coated microwell plates to capture active OCT2 from prepared nuclear or whole-cell lysates, followed by an OCT2-specific antibody and an enzyme-based colorimetric signal to quantify DNA-binding capacity.
