NudC (Phospho-Ser326)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the detection of phosphorylated NudC (Phospho-Ser326) protein in cell samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm in a 96-well microplate format, and is intended for use with adherent cell samples. Reactivity is listed for human, mouse, and rat, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells.

The kit is lysate-free and employs an indirect ELISA format: phospho-specific or total NudC primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colour reaction upon substrate addition. An anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided to account for well-to-well differences in cell density. The qualitative result is obtained by reading absorbance at 450 nm after the stop solution is added.

NUDC is a cytoskeletal component of the dynactin complex that contributes to mitotic processes such as spindle formation, chromosome alignment, and cytokinesis, with phosphorylation by PLK1 implicated in cytokinesis.
