NPM Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit enables qualitative detection of NPM (nucleophosmin) protein expression in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format: NPM-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, which bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Absorbance is read at 450 nm.

The kit is intended for measuring relative NPM levels in adherent cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on NPM expression. It is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and is supplied in a 96-well microplate format with a storage stability of 4°C/6 Months. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalisation, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.
