NMDAR2B (Phospho-Tyr1336)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Cell-Based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed to detect the phosphorylated NMDAR2B (NR2B) subunit at tyrosine 1336 in cultured cell samples, using a colorimetric readout at 450 nm.

Configured as a lysate-free, high-throughput indirect assay, the kit measures relative levels of phosphorylated NMDAR2B in cells and can be used to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (e.g., siRNA or chemicals), or activators on NMDAR2B phosphorylation. The manufacturer states reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and compatibility with adherent cells.

Because the read-out is qualitative, two normalisation approaches are supplied: a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step allows results to be adjusted to cell density.
