NMDAR1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Cell-Based ELISA Kit that uses a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm for the qualitative determination of NMDAR1 protein expression in cultured cells. The indirect ELISA format relies on NMDAR1-specific primary antibodies to capture the target, with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies binding the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

Reactivity has been established for Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, with the procedure designed for adherent cells. The dynamic range is greater than 5000 cells, and the format is a 96-well microplate. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.

The kit is intended for measuring relative NMDAR1 expression in cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, or activators on the target. Storage stability is 4°C for 6 months.
