NFIL-3 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this in-cell colorimetric ELISA is designed to detect NFIL3 (also known as E4BP4) in adherent cell samples, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format, in which NFIL3-specific primary antibodies are captured and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies generate a colorimetric signal on substrate addition, read at 450 nm. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.

NFIL3 is a bZIP-family transcription factor (UniProt Q16649, Gene ID 4783) involved in the regulation of circadian rhythm and immune response, with a calculated molecular weight of 51 kDa and an observed molecular weight of 55 kDa. The assay supports a dynamic range of greater than 5000 Cells and is supplied with a storage stability of 4°C for 6 months.
